Moving Forward Together: Next Steps, Swearing-In, and Upcoming County Business

Stepping Into Service: Thank You & Next Steps

First and foremost, thank you to everyone in the 3rd district who voted for me. I appreciate your trust, encouragement, and support throughout this journey. I am eager to hit the ground running for our district.

Whether you voted for me, supported another candidate, or didn’t participate in this election, I am here to represent every resident of our district. My job is to serve our whole community, listen to every concern, and work for solutions that benefit all of us. My door is always open, and I welcome your feedback, ideas, and perspectives.

The transition into office is officially underway, and there are several key dates and crucial local discussions on the horizon.

Upcoming Swearing-In & First Day

  • County Swearing-In Ceremony – August 28th 5 pm at the county courthouse
    • Newly elected county officials and commissioners will officially take the oath of office ahead of the new term.
  • Official Start Date: September 1st
    • Day one as your District 3 county commissioner! I expect to receive my committee assignments soon, which will guide where I focus my initial efforts alongside my fellow commissioners and other community leaders.

Key Meetings & Community Business

Here are the key public meetings and major agenda items on the radar:

  • Crossville City Council (Special Called Meeting) – Tuesday, 8/18 at 7:30 am

As these meetings approach, my commitment remains simple: open communication, transparent decision-making, and keeping our community informed every step of the way.

If you have questions, feedback, or ideas on these upcoming agenda items, please feel free to leave a comment or reach out directly. Thank you again for the opportunity to serve!
